In instances where a Building Survey would be too long or greater flexibility is required than with an RICS HomeBuyer report, our Walter Winn Survey is an ideal alternative. We designed the Walter Winn Survey report using the benefit of our experience and client feedback, aiming to provide a comprehensive yet reader-friendly report.

The WW Survey covers all elements of the property including a description of the property, internal and external condition (broken down into elements), structural movement, services, energy conservation, main defects, items requiring further investigation and legal matters. The report has the scope to identify and comment in detail on general and any unusual features of the property or any special requirements.

The Walter Winn Survey provides more detail and advice on any repairs, maintenance or improvements required, and is therefore ideal for unusual or more dated/poorly maintained properties - especially flats which are not suitable for a Building Survey - and properties where our clients wish to undertake reconfiguration or extension. Whereas the HomeBuyer report provides a few sentences on each element, the Walter Winn Survey provides several paragraphs, including information on maintenance matters and any long-term considerations. This is our most popular survey as it is detailed yet clear and accessible. The report includes digital images and an annotated floorplan illustrating the location of any damp found.
